MANUFACTURERS AFFIDAVIT OR ORIGIN FOR COMPONENTS

Hochiki-manufactured products are produced in the United States, using both domestic and, in some cases, foreign materials. Any foreign components used are substantially transformed through Hochiki’s U.S.-based manufacturing processes into entirely new products with a distinct name, character, and use, as defined under U.S. trade regulations.

Furthermore, in most cases, Hochiki America Corp meets the Manufacturer’s Certification Of Buy America Compliance. Based on requirements for specific projects, Hochiki will comply with 49 USC § 50101, and other Made in America Laws, U.S. statutes, guidance by submitting separate manufacturer certifications such as 00 61 86 (by part) or acceptable waivers.

Hochiki America’s internal operating procedures are per ISO 9001 and listed by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and Factory Mutual (FM).
